Anthony Tucci is a paramedic who is presently serving as the Interim Administrative Director at Western Berks Ambulance Association. Starting his EMS career in 1989 with Southern Berks Regional EMS before joining Western Berks in 1997 where Anthony has transitioned from a staff paramedic though the ranks to becoming the Deputy Chief in 2009. As the Deputy Chief and the Interim Director, Anthony has always believed that empowering his staff members creates the most productive and satisfying work environment. Anthony has work with ministrators, EMTs, paramedics, nurse, physicians and other organizations to improve clinical practice, provide continuing education, create new protocols based on clinical trials and obtain new equipment through grants. Since graduating from the Reading School of Health Sciences, Anthony has furthered his education becoming a Critical Care Paramedic as well as receiving the PA Ambulance Association Star of Life, First Responder Commendation Medal, Western Berks Ambulance Unit and Individual Citation. He serves as a CPR, ACLS, PALS and EMT instructor and is a member of the Strike Team. Anthony has served as the Vice President of the IAFF 4803 since 2013 and is the EMS Committee Chairman of the PA Professional Fire Fighters IAFF since 2014. In addition to his EMS contributions Anthony is a baseball enthusiast serving as the Mid Atlantic Regional Assistant Babe Ruth Softball Commissioner and PA State Commissioner of the Babe Ruth League.
