It is not necessary to memorize the chemical symbols of all the elements on the periodic table, but one must be familiar with those that most often appear in hazardous materials. This module provides knowledge and information related to OSHA 1910.120 and the following NFPA Standard 1072 Job Performance Requirements: 5.1.3.
